Should all good American's Support Liverpool!

As many of you know I'm no fan of Rafa and have hoped and prayed he would be gone, but Country First! The American owners of the team have been abused 24/7 since they took control of the club. True much of their problem was their own doing, but at this early point in the season it looks like something is going very right for them now. So, given the hard knocks America has taken lately I say we need an American back to back with Man U last year and Liverpool this year! Then what will the English press will say, maybe invite Al Davis(NFL owner who can't find a head coach he likes) to buy Newcastle.

No.

Although bringing in Al Davis would dramatically increase the hilarity around the EPL. Did you watch that press conference? He looks like Gollum from Lord of the Rings. He talked in so many circles, contradicted himself, and frankly just completely embarrassed himself, the Raiders, and the NFL. Kiffin was right to feel embarrassed for Davis' actions. Imagine Davis owning Newcastle. What fun would that be?

Mbs often end up being cheap popularity contests. Now unless you want to discuss Sol being regaled last Sunday with 'You're only here for the sailors'......

Mbs?

The way Sol was treated on Sunday was horrific. Arrests should have been made. The FA is investigating. Security camera film is being looked to identify the guilty parties. Spurs might end up paying some hefty fines over the actions of their supporters, and I use that term supporters loosely.

I think the problem that members have it when do they have time to comment or post. Saturday, Sunday, Monday, you have EPL on the field action. Tuesday and Wednesday Champions League or Carling Cup. Thursday UEFA Cup. Friday is the only break. Not to mention if your a MLS fan you have action to watch. Who can move away from their TV or Computer to post anything!

Are you saying we have no life? I watch several games a week. More than my wife would like.

In part yes. It takes up your free time. I know you have to work weekends and for me it's a choice to work weekends, but I often have to do it. So then you come home and watch the game on tape or your hard drive and then sleep and eat and try to read the newspaper and watch a highlights show. Help! I will not have to worry about watching the cubs much longer at least.

Best way to enable more watching of matches is to get the missus interested (women have a natural affinity in this country for the beautiful game) like wot I done, she'll be even more enthralled when the question of predictions and betting comes into play. Mind you the late night kick-offs help here - can't drag me off shopping at that hour :-)

Keep the faith gentlemen and thanks for your perseverance in trying to get things kick-started. There may be few posters currently, but there are definitely lots of snoopers who are reading articles.

Just like the previous communities, it takes a while to get things moving. Slowly but surely, they'll come aboard.

I'll plug it some more on the main site to drive some increased interest.

Cheers,
The Gaffer
