EPL Week 5-Quick Hits- The Bailout Edition
Best Bailout Award: No not to the Federal Reserve but Man City. Shows you what putting in a few bucks into a team could do. You may be better then Man U quicker then you think. BTW, do your new owners have a few extra`bucks to bailout Wall Street, the US taxpayers do not.
The How Not to Dress Award goes to Sir Alex Ferguson. Love the AIG jersey now that the American taxpayers own it, but a really bad look today Alex, especially in fashionable Chelsea. In the future stick to a shirt and tie. Despite the fashion disaster great job to walk away with a`draw, and a deck of cards, but your team is getting older and` Wayne Rooney is not getting wiser. Are the rumors of Rooney getting a new address before long true? I hope so since a transfer may help out the US economy.
The Beautiful Game Award: I have always felt the name not appropriate to the English game, that is not a knock on it however, I enjoy the physical play, but watching the Gunner's is a thing of beauty at times and Saturday was one of those time. It's art!
If you believe what we are hearing out of West Ham you may find another candidate for the art award. However, you will have to beat someone bigger then Newcastle to be really considered. As an Italian American it was a nice win purely from a personal point of view. The new pasta diet must have helped.
Best game of the week again goes to Everton as well as one of the best scores. The goal that made it two all was a thing of beauty. It is an example of teamwork at it's finest. Hull is`still doing things a team that just came up shouldn't be doing. You bad boys, but keep up the good work.
Rafa finally makes me look good by playing down to expectations. Not really, a bad call may have lead to the result but Rafa just couldn't come to terms with the call. Greatly appreciated thank you. Keep playing hard Stoke and a great game by your keeper. The best group as a whole of newly promoted teams in a few years. Maybe all three of you can stay up, I believe that was last done in 01-02.
Spurs v. Wigan- no comment is the best comment. I won't even dare to start my DVR to watch it. Who every heard of the manager being homesick? Maybe a first in any league.
Roy Keane can it finally be true are you ready to stay in the upper half of the table. Please say yes, SAF is not getting any younger. Portsmouth, Blackburn, Boro, Fulham, and Bolton, we are all stuck in the middle with you.
Ahead of the news: The EPL announces the 39th game is to be played entirely in the Gulf region and hardly a word will be spoken against the plan since every season ticket holder will be flown in along with the team so that the complete experience of a English league game will be seen in the host country.
Finally, the MVP award to our own Gaffer for what I hear will be a new` addition to your family. The best to you and Mrs. Gaffer. I hope things are well.

Did ManCity score again? Can I come out from under the couch where I've been whimpering since about noon eastern time? Oh my, what the *#^@ was that? Ouch. I feel like I've been shot! They quit on us. They quit on each other. Some of those *#%^@! players should have walked back to Portsmouth barefoot with supporters screaming obscenities at them all the way. I would pay good money to have heard what Harry had to say in the dressing room after the match. I'll bet it continued after they got on the coach to go home, and probably all the way to the player's parking lot when they were getting in their own cars.
Why was that stadium only about 1/3 full?
